A Little Bit About Me
Assalamualaikum akhwat,
 
Thanks in advance for visiting my modest profile. My name is Chan Khairulsalikin, of Chinese-Malay descent. My family and friends address me in various forms of names, but for now, let's just stick to Khair.. ;)
 
Since pretty much of my biodata can be found below, I'll just proceed with my character traits. I am pretty much a simple but practical guy, with a great sense of humour. I treasure my family and friends very much. I like to make people around me laugh, but of course, I do know my limits. That wasn't always the case though but alhamdulilah, nowadays, I am able to think before saying something that might hurt someone. It also depends on the company I'm with too. 
 
In this society we live in, I try to accommodate as much as I possibly could but when it comes to religious matters, I do not make any compromises. I am quite socialable and can start off conversations with strangers but again, when my company organises gatherings, I usually avoid them as they usually end up at non-halal restaurants, or worse, at pubs. 
 
I spend most of my week nights attending religious classes (sometimes, includes a short tea session after class.. hehe), and my weekends would be for weddings/maulids. If there is no invitations, I'd either go for a jog or pretty much be relaxing at home with my family.

P.S- Although looks is not the most important quality, it does play a part.. I'm not here to find gorgeous models but at least someone pleasant in my eyes would suffice.. So at the very least, kindly put a pic or grant me access if I requested OK?

What I Am Looking For
I am looking for someone who can share her life with me, who can love me despite my weaknesses, who understands her role as a wife (this is really crucial in view of the feminism movement, which I personally am against as Islam places women on a high pedestal).. A practicing sister, who has interests in continuing to learn about the deen cause learning is a lifelong process.. I'd also hope to meet someone who had taken a wrong turn at some point of time in life but has changed/is changing (which I also went through and I believe these experiences will allow us to understand each other even better).. And of course, someone who wants to get married soon... :)
